Olympic Torch arriving in New Tecumseth

The Olympic Flame will be arriving in New Tecumseth on its way to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games as the torch bearing relay winds its way through it arduous 106 day, 45,000 km journey that will eventually take it through communities and places of interest in every Province and Territory.

Show your support for Canada and our Community by wearing Red and White as you line up to celebrate and participate in this occasion.  Rolling Road closures will ensure safety of spectators and torchbearers as the torch relay travels through Alliston on Dec. 29th at approximately 4:30 pm.

Victoria Street will be closed on Tuesday December 29th between 10 am and 4 pm between Paris and Centre Streets for community celebrations.
Celebrations will include:
         New Tecumseth's biggest Road Hockey Game;
         Music;
         Circus Performers;
         Entertainment; and
         Interactive Events
As more information is available, I will make it available on my blog.

Other information will be available on closer to December 29th:
